CINEMA: Burn After Reading

This is the 2008 movie “Burn After Reading”, directed by Ethan Coen and Joel Coen. The movies release date is October 17, 2008 (UK).
The movie is about two gym employees (Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand) who plan on selling a disk that contains the memoirs of a CIA agent (John Malkovich).
Burn After Reading the movie has received some great reviews, and IMDB has had over 15,000 votes on this movie with a 7.8/10 score. The cast includes Tilda Swinton, John Malkovich, Frances McDormand, Brad Pitt, and George Clooney.

Burn After Reading may lack the substance and wide-reaching subtext of No Country… but it rewards viewers in other ways. The characters and pratfalls that befall them are more reminiscent of their work in The Big Lebowski (minus the drugs), while the violence is in keeping with some of their grittier material.
It’s just a really fun ride that comes complete with the odd surprise and some typically well-written interplay.
