This time Supperclub Amsterdam’s Musical Director, Alan Luna is the man in charge of music. With his eclectic selection of über-funky tracks by the likes of Fink, Mark Murphy, The Black Dog, Dakar, Henrik Schwarz and DJ Vadim he manages to surprise yet gives this album that distinct warm sound which Supperclub and the compilation series is renowned for.For the second time the cover art is made by Dutch photographer Krijn van Noordwijk. The reactions on the artwork he made for supperclub ‘addiction’ were so overwhelming that Supperclub decided to ask him again. Krijn has been the official photographer of the Amsterdam Dance Event.

CINEMA: Burn After Reading

This is the 2008 movie “Burn After Reading”, directed by Ethan Coen and Joel Coen. The movies release date is October 17, 2008 (UK).
The movie is about two gym employees (Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand) who plan on selling a disk that contains the memoirs of a CIA agent (John Malkovich).
Burn After Reading the movie has received some great reviews, and IMDB has had over 15,000 votes on this movie with a 7.8/10 score. The cast includes Tilda Swinton, John Malkovich, Frances McDormand, Brad Pitt, and George Clooney.

Burn After Reading may lack the substance and wide-reaching subtext of No Country… but it rewards viewers in other ways. The characters and pratfalls that befall them are more reminiscent of their work in The Big Lebowski (minus the drugs), while the violence is in keeping with some of their grittier material.
It’s just a really fun ride that comes complete with the odd surprise and some typically well-written interplay.

Paul Fyer's Exhibition: Let There Be More Light

Paul Fryer is playing God. And the church of Holy Trinity Marylebone will become the setting for the artist's most significant solo exhibition to date, a giant cabinet of curiosities where science, religion, and art collide. Paul Fryer lives and works in London, England. He studied art briefly at the Leeds College Of Art in the 1980s but never did a degree in the subject, electing instead to be an electropop singer, and then to graduate as a transvestite DJ. In the early 90's he was instrumental in the creation of the widely acclaimed Art-based clubs The Kit Cat Club and Vague, also in Leeds where, for reasons that are not entirely clear, he stayed until 1996. Since moving to London he has designed books and other printed material for several artists, fashion houses and record labels as well as working as technical consultant for several contemporary artists. During this period he wrote a book of poetry, Don't Be So..., which was illustrated by Damien Hirst and published by Trolley Books in 2001.
He recently left the Italian house Fendi after 5 years as musical director. His critically acclaimed multimedia show Electronic Elvis was successfully performed at several London venues in 2003 & 2005 and was released on vinyl in 2005.

I received an email today - apparently Sakis Rouvas, a Greek singer, has been voted most beautiful man in the world! Who voted? I have no idea...but I certainly think they have a point! He's HOT! Born in Corfu and it wasn’t long before music and song became a part of his life. Artistic gymnastics was his other passion and he has won exceptional national awards. He also excelled at pole vaulting and, being the exceptional talent that he was, became a member of the Greek National Team.
